Prevent Arthritis in Your Pet

I am often asked if there is anything that can be done to prevent arthritis in dogs and cats. While many of us want to avoid using the word when discussing a variety of diseases, a better term to use may minimize the likelihood of or delay the onset of certain diseases that are being discussed. While I believe we can do much to prevent problems such as arthritis, I am hesitant to use the word prevent (although I often use it with my client or when I was interviewed on radio or television) because it means a sure thing.
